These are a really nice alternative to plastic snack cups. The stainless steel feels sturdy and substantial without making the cups overly heavy. Love that the edges are smooth with nothing sharp or rough around little hands.

The 12 oz size is just right for toddler snacks. It holds a decent portion without being unnecessarily bulky, and the silicone handles are soft and easy for small hands to grip. The colors are also adorable and have a simple, modern look.

We especially appreciate that each cup includes both the snack top and a separate travel lid. The snack opening helps contain inevitable spills while still allowing little hands to reach inside. And the travel lid makes it much more practical to toss into a bag for daycare and outings. Everything comes apart easily for cleaning, being dishwasher safe is a huge plus for something we'll use regularly.

These containers feel durable enough to last through the toddler years and potentially beyond. They are a little pricier than some comparable snack cups. But stainless steel construction over plastic is much preferred and really like the overall modern design.

Easy For Little Hands And Keeps Snacks Contained

The stainless steel cup is a great size for toddler snacks and holds more than I initially expected. I have put about a cup of snacks inside at a time and there is still room left, so I am not having to refill it constantly. The stainless steel interior also makes more sense to me for something that is regularly holding food since it is simple to clean and does not hold onto smells or residue from whatever was in it previously.

The silicone snack top has a cut opening in the center that allows my toddler to reach his hand inside and grab what he wants without having an open cup of snacks waiting to be dumped everywhere. The silicone is very soft and flexible, so his hand can easily push through the opening without it feeling stiff or uncomfortable against his skin. Once he pulls his hand back out, the flexible silicone falls back into place and helps keep the remaining snacks contained.

There is also a separate silicone lid that fits securely over the entire snack top. I really like having this because I can fill the cup before we leave the house, put the lid on and carry it along without leaving the snack opening exposed. The lid fits snugly rather than loosely resting on top, which is important when something is inevitably going to get turned sideways or tossed around while traveling with a toddler.

The handles on each side are another feature that makes the cup particularly well suited for little kids. My toddler can hold onto it himself instead of needing me to carry the cup or hold it while he eats. The handles give him a much better grip than he would have trying to hold onto a smooth stainless steel cup, especially while walking around or sitting somewhere without a table.

I also like that the silicone tops and lids come in different colors. Aside from making the stainless steel cups look more child friendly, the different colors make each one easy to identify. If multiple cups are being used or packed at once, I can tell them apart immediately without having to open each lid to see what is inside.

This is one of those simple toddler items where the design actually addresses the things that normally make snack time messy. My toddler gets the independence of carrying his own cup and reaching in for his own snacks, while the flexible silicone opening helps prevent him from accidentally dumping the entire serving at once. Between the stainless steel construction, soft silicone, secure outer lid, toddler sized handles and generous capacity, everything about the cup is practical for everyday snacks at home or away.

We had a bunch of snack cups in this style for our first child but they were all plastic. The worked great, but over time the plastic developed a film/etching that wouldn’t come off. For our second child we wanted a non-plastic option that wouldn’t be breakable. So far, these have been perfect! The lids fit on easily, but you do need to be careful to not push them on too far or they won’t get seated properly. Once on, they hold up just as well to toddler shakes and bumps as their plastic competitors. We particularly like the lids that these came with since we’re able to toss them in the diaper bag without spilling. We couldn’t do that with the plastic ones! These have also looked great after running them through the dishwasher and I expect they will continue to hold up.

Overall, we’re super pleased with these snack cups. We will likely order more and we recommend them to other families.
